NOTE: This has been updated to reflect the new dates of the Minot Pride Festival.
Magic City Equality is excited to announce the dates of the Minot Pride Festival 2021!
The festival will include three days of events from Friday, September 3 to Sunday, September 5, 2021, to celebrate and unite the LGBTQ2S+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, and Two Spirit) community, as well as allies, friends, and family.
Events include:
September 3 - Pride Block Party - A street dance complete with food, drink, and a DJ. (16+)
September 4 - Pride in the Streets - An afternoon of sun, fun, and pride in downtown Minot, including vendors, food trucks, and more! (All ages)
September 4 - Drag Show - A glitzy evening with local and regional drag performers at the Grand Hotel. (16+)
September 5 - Drag Brunch - A high-spirited brunch with great food and entertainment.
The Minot Pride Festival is our "main event," however, Magic City Equality works throughout the year to not only advocate for and bring awareness to the LGBTQ2S+ community, and also offer social networking opportunities and programs that focus on health, wellness, and an overall sense of belonging and inclusion. In addition, we hope to one day open a community center to provide even more services to the community and offer a "home base," a safe space to gather.
To make this happen, we need your help. We have four levels of donorship that are available to individuals, businesses, and corporations. This offers the chance to show your support and let the community know that there is citywide support for LGBTQ2S+ community. We can showcase your business as a supporter in the Magic City.
These levels include, but are not limited to:
Friend ($100 to $249)
Ally ($250 to $499)
Advocate ($500 to $999)
Equality+ ($1,000+)
For more information on these donor levels, including the perks that come with each level, please review the graphic below.
In addition to financial contributions, we also appreciate volunteers who would like to help during the Minot Pride Festival 2021 and/or at other events throughout the year. Every helping hand can play a special part in the community. Magic City Equality would like to thank you for anything and everything you can do to help the LGBTQ2S+ community here in Minot. If you would like to be a donor and/or vendor, please click here to complete the Donor/Vendor form. To take advantage of the donor perks, please sign up by Saturday, August 14, 2021. (Vendors for Pride in the Streets can sign up until Saturday, August 21, 2021.)
